I'm the owner and photographer behind Oaken Photography. I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, and photography has been part of my life for more than 12 years.

I started by photographing people close to me at family gatherings, events, and friends. Over time, I learned more about photography and became drawn to how light and composition can turn a simple moment into something beautiful.

My style leans cinematic, natural, and polished, but I never want the images to feel stiff or overdone. I like giving enough direction so people feel comfortable, while still leaving room for real expression and movement.
