At Oaken Photography, the goal is to create images that feel clean, thoughtful, and true to the people in them. Whether it's a portrait, couples session, event, or branding session, I focus on natural expression, lighting, and direction that helps the image feel personal without feeling overdone.

Hello, My name is
Isaias Vieyra
I'm Isaias Vieyra, the photographer behind Oaken Photography. I've spent over 12 years working in photography and as of 2026, I'm also expanding into wedding photography. Over time, I've developed an interest in an editorial style inspired by cinematography. I've always appreciated how lighting, color, and composition can change the way an image looks and feels, and those are things I pay close attention to in my own work.
I enjoy the creative side of photography, from finding the right light to working with different compositions and giving direction when it's needed. But I also like leaving room for things to happen naturally. I enjoy having fun during photoshoots and giving people the freedom to express themselves without feeling like they have to act a certain way in front of the camera. At the end of the day, I hope my clients walk away feeling like they had a great experience, enjoyed themselves, and have some great photographs to remember it by.
My goal
Seeing Your Vision, Preserving Your Memories
My goal isn’t to just photograph what’s happening. It’s to preserve enough of it that years from now, whether you see your photos on your wall, scroll through them on your phone, or come across them on social media, you can remember what it felt like to be there. From our first conversation, my goal is to understand what you’re looking for, what matters to you, and how you want your day to feel. We’ll plan enough that you never feel unsure of what comes next, while leaving enough room for the moments that couldn’t have been planned in the first place.
When it’s time to shoot, you won’t be expected to know how to pose or perform for the camera. I’ll give direction when you need it, step back when you don’t, and have my camera ready for everything happening in between. The result is a collection of photographs that feels complete without feeling fake or overly posed. You’ll receive your huge moments, the tiny ones, and the things you may not have even noticed while they were happening. Simply put: You live it. I’ll make sure you can come back to it years later.
